Digital Story
A Summer Vacation in the Forest
Uses in classroom: Students will be able to use techology to create a story.
I would use this in the classroom to help students get a better understanding of all the elements needed for a story. This is just another innovative way for students to express themselves.
Issues to consider: In creating this digital story myself. I had many questions so I feel that this would be a teaching tool that would be better used with upper elementary and higher. As always with technology the availabilty of a computer for students can cause issues.

How to sign in to xtramath account
Uses in the classroom: Students will be able to duplicate technology skills shown in tutorial. Students will be able to use this website to develop fluency in math.
This tutorial is intended to walk students through the process of logging into their xtramath.org account. xtramath.org is a website used to help students build their fluency with basic math facts. Students are given a certain amount of time to answer questions correctly, these math problems are repeated until the student can anwer them fluently and accurately.
Once they have mastered their addition then the program will begin working on subtraction, then mulitplication and finally division. This is a great website at it can be used at school and at home. It allows teachers to print of letters to send home to parents with the information students will need to log into their account. I would also place the link for this tutorial on my webpage for parents to watch to help them at home.
Issues to consider: Students will need access to a computer. Students will need to remember or have on hand teachers email address, their registered name and their four digit pin number.
